Where the doctorate begins. A 50-page proposal setting out your research question, its position in the literature and the method you will use – developed with your supervisor, written by you. The document your admission and your dissertation are both built on.

The methodological foundation of everything that follows. A written scholarly work on research methodology, presented and defended before the examination commission.

Two examinations on the theoretical foundation of your dissertation topic, set individually for your research. Each combines a written and an oral part in a single session.
